Web Finds: Crash Course

Vlogbrothers John and Hank Green do much more than just sit in front of the camera being awesome. Not only have they been organizing the largest convention for online viewers and creators, VidCon, but brother John Green is a New York Times bestselling author with a movie adaptation for one of his novels underway. The brothers strive to educate their audience and aim to create the world into a better place, sans ignorance and stupidity. So here's one of their other channels, Crash Course, where you can pick and choose what you want to learn. It's basically a quick study tool for finals or for anyone willing to learn.

Let's get to it:

Their newest endeavor is the Psychology Crash Course, here's episode 1.

Here are 47 videos and 8 hours worth of Chemistry lessons, everything from equilibrium equations to the global carbon cycle.

Here are 49 videos and 10 hours worth of US history, ranging from the Natives and the English to Obamanation.

Here are 8 videos and 1 hour and 19 minutes worth of Literature, giving you an extensive close-read of books like Romeo & Juliet to The Poetry of Emily Dickinson.

Here are 12 videos and 2 hours worth of Ecology, it touches on everything from the Texas Mosquito Mystery to Conservation and Restoration.

Here are 40 videos and 7 hours worth of Biology, especially for all my friends who failed the class under the tutelage of a bearded man back in high school, this ranges from eukaryotes to nonvascular plants.

Last but not least, my favorite topic of all, World History! I've watched many of these videos to rid myself of this disease called ignorance, from learning about the Indus Valley civilization all the way to the Cold War.
