Web Finds: One Color




If a video is that good, at the end of it, I'll sit there and stare absentmindedly at the screen. Which I did when I watched Neil Hilborn and Renee Schminkey's spoken word poetry, One Color. If you recognize the man, that's because he's the one that performed OCD. This poem is about love and sex, and what it really means to be raped. Because rape isn't just when a woman is helplessly kidnapped on the street by a malevolent man, it's about any time you are forced to have sex, even by your loving partner.
