If you haven't seen the First Kiss video then congratulations, you might just be one of the handful of people who actually have a life outside of the internet. First Kiss is a campaign by fashion label Wren, and it brought strangers together to kiss. Supposedly they were strangers and it was all impromptu, but then again, everything is staged in this world. The strangers were all actually models. The illusion is shattered. It's like discovering that Santa isn't real.
Let's get to it:
First Gay Hug is a homophobic experiment where one homophobe and one gay person stand in the same room and...hug. That's all. The result? Angry, scared, and confused homophobes. I'm glad all the gays faced the bigots well, though. I would be all Hulk Smash all over that Catholic lady with the daughter. Seriously.
I long for the day religious homophobes learn that gays and trans* people are human beings.
